Job summary

The Partnership to Reduce Cancer in Rhode Island (PRCRI) seeks a Coalition Coordinator to support coalition activities, engage partners, and advance the RI State Cancer Plan. You will serve as a main project manager for coalition initiatives, coordinate work groups, and oversee educational and screening programs.

This role leads communications, plans the annual RI Cancer Summit, schedules events, supports community outreach, and tracks progress toward state plan objectives with hybrid work in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Human Services, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities; comfortable with public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Coalition Work Group Facilitation: schedule, build agendas, facilitate, and maintain records for key work groups.
• Event & Educational Program Coordination: plan logistics, speakers, sponsorships, CEU/CME tracking, and event execution.
• Community Screening & Outreach: represent PRCRI at community events and recruit members.
• Communications Strategy: manage newsletter, articles, email campaigns, and social media posts; ensure consistent messaging.
