Job summary

Rutgers University seeks a Program Director in Cancer Health Equity & Engagement to lead community education, engagement, and cross-sector partnerships across the CINJ ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Director of Administration, you will shape strategic plans, oversee budgets, and coordinate with partners to advance COE and ScreenNJ goals.

The role requires graduate-level health policy or public health expertise, five years of progressive leadership experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in public health, health sciences, health care policy, business administration, public policy, or a related field.
• Five (5) years progressively more responsible professional level or higher experience in public health, community outreach healthcare, healthcare policy, strategic partnerships, external relations, educational outreach, research and sponsored programs administration, project management, or related services.
• Two (2) years managerial/ supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Strategic, tactical, and operational planning of COE and ScreenNJ programs to define goals.
• Develop, promote, and nurture relationships with partners to secure funding streams.
• Lead planning and operational support of statewide COE and ScreenNJ partner development and education efforts.
• Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and adapt plans to meet program goals.
