Qualifications

• 5+ years of system or cloud administration, including at least 2 years with Azure environments.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure administration and hybrid environment integration.
• Proficiency in SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and T-SQL scripting.
• Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation development.
• Solid understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and high availability configurations.
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V) and network fundamentals.
• Experience with system security, patch management, and compliance processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, operation, and database administration of hybrid Azure/on‑prem environments.
• Design, implement, and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Design, maintain, and optimize SQL Server and Azure SQL databases.
• Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and core infrastructure components.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts or automation pipelines.
• Design and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Enforce system hardening, patch management, and access control.
• Oversee system monitoring tools, analyze trends, and propose improvements.
• Lead IT infrastructure and cloud migration projects; mentor junior admins.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage technical support contracts.
