Job summary

NexGen Data Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer to manage enterprise storage, backup, and hybrid cloud resources. The role focuses on provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and lifecycle maintenance of systems with emphasis on cloud technologies.

Responsibilities include DR testing, storage management, and ensuring compliance and security across on-prem and cloud environments. On-site work at designated facilities is expected.

Qualifications

DoD security clearance required; IT-I/Critical-Sensitive Tier 5 SSBI may be required.
DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification: IAT Level II.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Monitor and report on DR capabilities across on-prem and cloud environments.
Coordinate DR failover operations within enterprise cloud environments.
Ensure high availability and performance for critical apps in cloud environments.
Manage storage arrays, Fibre Channel switches, and storage fabric components.
Maintain backup and recovery solutions across hybrid infrastructures.
