Job summary

NexGen Data Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead provisioning, installation, configuration, and lifecycle maintenance of enterprise systems with emphasis on cloud computing technologies. The role covers hybrid and multi‑cloud environments, on‑prem and cloud hardware, and secure operations aligned with compliance baselines.

The candidate will craft technical specs, project plans, and test results while communicating risks and milestones to teams and executives.

Qualifications

• Active DoD security clearance required.
• DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor DR capabilities across on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Coordinate DR failover operations and document results.
• Ensure high availability and performance of enterprise apps in cloud.
• Manage SAN/storage, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and RAID configurations.
• Develop SOPs and architectural documentation for storage in hybrid environments.
