Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is seeking an experienced leader for a Cloud Security Engineering and Operations role, driving secure cloud infrastructure across multiple teams. You will design secure patterns, oversee life cycle management, and mentor a security-focused engineering group.

The role requires deep expertise in CNAPP, cloud security controls, and IaC security, with a focus on AWS/Azure environments and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering/CS with 6+ years in IT focusing on Cloud Security and orchestration on AWS/Azure.
• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity/IT/Engineering is desirable and would enhance qualifications.
• Experience building and leading a cloud security team, hiring, mentoring and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Cloud security engineering and operations team.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Infrastructure Operations and other teams to design secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Develop secure by design build patterns and manage technology lifecycle across the domain.
• Provide technical leadership in secure cloud architecture and drive security tool implementations.
