Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is seeking a Cloud Security Engineering Manager to lead a security engineering and operations team responsible for secure cloud infrastructure, build-kits, and lifecycle management across AWS/Azure. You will partner with Solutions Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, and Infrastructure Service Management to design secure patterns and automate security in CI/CD and IaC.

This hybrid role can be located in Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, CS or related field with 6 years in IT focusing on Cloud Security and orchestration in AWS/Azure, or 10 years in IT with focus on Cloud Security and orchestration.
• 3 years experience in Cloud security, technology and automation.
• 1 year experience in information security management or leadership.
• Knowledge of CNAPP capabilities and cloud security controls; strong vendor management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Cloud security engineering and operations team and collaborate across services to design secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Develop secure patterns, build-kits, and lifecycle management for the technology area; transition knowledge to Infrastructure Operations.
• Provide technical leadership in secure cloud architecture and drive security across CI/CD and IaC processes.
