Job summary

VHC Health seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead our SIEM program and cloud security for a hybrid environment. You will design, build, and secure on‑premises and cloud workloads while ensuring comprehensive visibility across the enterprise.

The role requires deep SIEM engineering expertise and hands-on experience onboarding data sources to SIEMs, plus secure migration of clinical apps to AWS or Azure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience with hands-on SIEM work.
• Experience onboarding apps, infra, and cloud workloads to a SIEM (log source integration, parsing, use case creation).
• Experience securing and migrating apps to AWS and/or Azure.
• Familiarity with EDR platforms.
• Familiarity with network/security monitoring tools.
• Solid understanding of security logging, detection engineering, and incident response.
• Experience in healthcare regulatory environments (HIPAA/HITRUST) preferred.
