Job summary

Amerisure seeks a Cloud Operations Analyst II to maintain the performance, availability, and reliability of cloud and on-prem infrastructure. You will implement observability tools, build dashboards, and collaborate with teams to improve processes and support critical operations.

Required: 3+ years in cloud ops, strong scripting (Python, PowerShell) and experience with Datadog and AWS. 3-day hybrid schedule on-site in Farmington Hills, MI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT.
• 3 years of experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, PagerDuty).
• 3 years in cloud operations or server management; AWS SysOps certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain observability tools for cloud and on-prem systems.
• Create dashboards, alerts, and reports to monitor health, performance, and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operations and reduce downtime.
• Manage lifecycle of cloud and on-prem servers incl. provisioning, patching, config, decommissioning.
• Participate in on-call rotations and document incident resolutions.
