Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Puerto Rico is seeking a Software Testing Engineer II to validate our cloud and on-prem security management platforms. The role is hybrid with 2 days per week in-office, targeting candidates with 2–4 years of testing networking and security products in cloud environments.

You will validate end-to-end systems, automate tests with Python and Playwright, and collaborate with Dev teams.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of networking, virtualization, and firewall technologies.
• Networking concepts including WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers, IPv4/IPv6.
• AWS cloud concepts and services.
• Kubernetes, container technologies, and microservices architectures.
• Python programming and scripting.
• UI test automation with Playwright.
• Identify, document and track defects; collaborate with developers.
• Prepare detailed test reports and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Test end-to-end systems built with microservices in Kubernetes on AWS, VMware, and KVM.
• Perform browser compatibility, end-user workflow, and traffic validation across browsers.
• Validate administrative workflows and document test scenarios; verify logs.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites using Python and Playwright; CI integration.
