Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Systems/Software Testing Engineer II for hybrid work in Puerto Rico. The role focuses on validating cloud and on-prem security management platforms, with end-to-end testing across Kubernetes, AWS, VMware, and KVM environments.

You will build and maintain automated tests in Python/Playwright and collaborate with development teams to validate fixes. The ideal candidate has a CS/Engineering degree and 2–4 years’ testing experience in cloud environments,

Qualifications

• Two to four years of hands-on testing networking and security products in cloud/virtualized environments.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols and security mechanisms.
• Experience with UI test automation using Playwright.
• Proficiency in Python programming and scripting for test automation.
• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes and containerized microservices.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality validation for Security Director Cloud and On-Prem.
• Design, execute functional and regression tests across cloud-native and virtualized deployments.
• Expand Python- and Playwright-based automation and integrate tests into CI workflows.
• Investigate failures, collaborate with developers to validate fixes, and document results.
