Job summary

First Century Bank is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support by maintaining on‑premises datacenter and cloud environments. You will handle outages, system maintenance, disaster recovery, and documentation to ensure reliability.

The role requires hands-on experience with VMware, Windows Server, AD, and Azure, plus strong scripting and change-management skills. A collaborative, security‑aware professional will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years of hands-on infrastructure experience including network, compute, virtualization, and storage/backup.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience.
• Experience administering VMware vSphere, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
• Working knowledge of networking technologies including switching, routing, VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions and an understanding of HA, DR, RTO, and RPO concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience scripting and automation, preferably using PowerShell.
• Experience with change management processes and maintaining technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the Bank's network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs).
• Administer on-premises VMware, Windows Server, and Linux environments.
• Operate and maintain cloud workloads, preferably Microsoft Azure, in a hybrid model.
• Support secure connectivity and consistent configuration across on-prem and cloud.
• Administer enterprise storage, backup, and replication solutions and perform recovery testing.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity activities and document recovery procedures.
• Administer Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and user access per least-privilege standards.
• Apply security updates, hardening, and configuration standards for audits.
