Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a seasoned Windows Infrastructure Engineer to lead administration and optimization of enterprise Windows Server environments. You will act as the main escalation point for complex incidents and drive long-term root-cause improvements.

The role requires hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), plus strong scripting and automation skills. Hybrid work model with on-site presence three days per week is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of enterprise Windows infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, authentication services, identity management, and enterprise administration.
• Strong Windows performance monitoring and root cause analysis skills.
• Hands-on AWS and Azure experience; hybrid cloud operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration, maintenance, and optimization of Windows Server infrastructure for high availability and reliability.
• Serve as primary escalation point for Level 3 incidents, driving root cause analysis and long-term resolution.
• Manage and support Active Directory, Group Policy, authentication services, and identity management solutions.
• Drive vulnerability remediation, security hardening, patching, and compliance initiatives across enterprise environments.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation using PowerShell,IaC, and orchestration tools to improve efficiency.
• Support and optimize hybrid cloud environments across AWS and Microsoft Azure, including migrations.
