Job summary

NISC is seeking a Platform & Infrastructure professional to strengthen our Cloud Networking team. You will design and maintain resilient network solutions, manage cloud connectivity, and drive secure operations across mixed environments.

Ideal candidates bring 1–5 years in networking/cloud infrastructure, Linux, automation tooling, and container orchestration with a focus on security and reliability. Hybrid work supports collaboration with multiple office locations.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of related experience in networking, cloud infrastructure, systems administration, software development, or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, ARP, NTP, OSPF, BGP, VPNs, and network security fundamentals.
• Experience with networking platforms and Linux command-line administration.
• Experience scripting in Python/PowerShell/Java or similar languages.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible or similar infrastructure automation tools.
• Understanding of cloud networking concepts and AWS, or other public clouds.
• Knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Understanding of HA, redundancy, load balancing and DR concepts.
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Build KPI dashboards tracking network and application SLA performance.
• Lead design and development of low-latency infrastructure for distributed systems.
• Lead hybrid cloud network topology design and build using industry best practices.
• Lead design and build of containerized network topologies.
• Manage vendor relationships and drive internet connectivity strategy.
• Advise on vulnerability best practices and coordinate resolutions.
• Automate network patching per Vulnerability Management policy.
• Develop maintenance plans and coordinate cross-team impacts.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs and knowledge base.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours maintenance.
