Job summary

Valiant Solutions is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to design, automate, and operate the multi-cloud networking layer connecting on-premise data centers to OCI and Google Cloud. You will build and maintain hybrid connectivity, provision GCP network components through Terraform, and extend IPv6 addressing across clouds.

The role targets migration efforts to OCI and GCP with 99.95% availability, a critical focus on TIC 3.0 and security controls, and collaboration with federal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience bridging on-premises networking and cloud infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; an Associate's degree with 2 extra years may substitute.
• Production experience with OCI or GCP, and ability to learn the other.
• Experience migrating live data center workloads to the cloud and coordinating with security controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage dual FastConnect circuits and BGP peering in OCI.
• Design and administer VCNs, CIDR planning, route tables, and Network Security Groups.
• Automate migrations and documentation to keep network records auditable.
• Define and deploy every GCP network component via Terraform and maintain Terraform codebase.
