Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Sr. Network / Hybrid Engineer to design and deliver secure, reliable connectivity between mission environments and Google Cloud for federal and DoD customers.

The role involves designing Shared VPCs, routing, DNS, load balancing, VPN/Interconnect, and network troubleshooting, plus mentoring the team and supporting RMF/FedRAMP/DoD authorization activities. Hybrid or remote with travel to customer sites in the DC/NOVA area.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant technical or engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with VPC, BGP, HA VPN, Interconnect, DNS, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Familiarity with packet analysis and flow analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design Shared VPC, routing, DNS, load balancing, VPN/Interconnect, segmentation, and network troubleshooting.
• Implement solutions using VPC, BGP, HA VPN, Interconnect, DNS, and firewalls.
• Mentor team members and contribute reusable standards.
• Support RMF/FedRAMP/DoD authorization activities.
