Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Deployment Network Engineer for a direct placement in Springfield, Virginia. You will design, deploy, and support customer network systems, including cloud and on-prem environments, with responsibilities spanning configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation.

The role requires 3–5 years of network engineering experience, familiarity with ExpressRoute/Azure VNets, and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of network engineering experience.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting network devices and working in CLI.
• Familiar with Layer 2/3 protocols and cloud networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, deployment, and implementation of customer network systems.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices and apply changes.
• Develop technical documentation for customer networks and objectives.
• Create network diagrams, rack elevations, and cable drawings.
• Collaborate with Microsoft and customer personnel on technical strategies.
