Job summary

Zions Bancorporation is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to design and build internal applications, integrations, and automation solutions in a hybrid work environment at the Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT. You will develop cloud-native applications, APIs, and automation with modern stacks and AI-assisted tools to boost efficiency across the enterprise.

The role requires 6+ years of software development experience, expertise in React and backend tech (Node.js / Java / Python),

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience developing modern full stack applications using React and one or more backend technologies such as Node.js (preferred), Java, or Python.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerized applications, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
• Experience applying DevSecOps principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Strong experience using AI-assisted development tools and agentic coding platforms to improve engineering productivity.
• Experience building enterprise automation, workflow, and integration solutions is a plus.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support full stack applications that improve internal productivity and business processes.
• Build and maintain user interfaces, APIs, integrations, and backend services using modern development frameworks and programming languages.
• Develop automation solutions that eliminate manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Leverage AI-assisted and agentic development tools to accelerate delivery and improve software quality.
• Build and support cloud-native applications and infrastructure using modern engineering practices.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and DevSecOps controls.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and business teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
