Job summary

Paramount Acceptance is seeking a Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer to lead the transition from on-prem to a hybrid AWS environment. You will partner with the VP of Technology to co-develop cloud strategy and own the cloud architecture and migration pipeline.

You will collaborate with the On-Premises Systems Engineer to safely migrate workloads, ensure high availability, security, and PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance across hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in infrastructure, with 3+ years leading AWS cloud migrations.
• Proven history building or maintaining PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant infrastructure.
• Demonstrated success leading technical projects in a team setting.
• Certifications: AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, or AWS DevOps Engineer Professional.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build secure, scalable AWS landing zones.
• Lead the design and execution of workload migration strategies.
• Ensure the infrastructure is configured for high availability, security, and performance.
• Migrate Hyper-V virtual machines to AWS EC2 or container services.
• Evaluate opportunities to migrate legacy workflows to cloud-first AWS technologies.
• Establish deployment standards using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
