Job summary

Nuveen is seeking a skilled CW-Info Systems Engineer IV to design and deliver production-grade information systems for PIVOT automation efforts. You will implement patching playbooks, CVE correlations, and drift detection across PPDM, Data Domain, Rubrik, and NetApp ONTAP.

You will also automate credential rotation, deliver audit-ready artifacts, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure secure, compliant operations within compressed timelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant IT experience, with hands-on data protection and storage infrastructure.
• Experience administering and engineering PPDM, Data Domain, ECS, Rubrik, or NetApp ONTAP in enterprise environments.
• Proven automation and orchestration experience (scripting, APIs, playbooks).
• REST API integration experience, especially with NetApp ActiveIQ/ONTAP APIs.
• Experience with credential vaulting and automated secrets rotation (CyberArk/Vault).
• Strong scripting ability (PowerShell, Python) for integrations and automation.
• Ability to work independently and deliver production-grade solutions under tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Build orchestrated patching playbooks for multiple data protection platforms.
• Develop a CVE-to-asset correlation service against live inventory.
• Create backup posture validation covering immutability and retention controls.
• Implement configuration drift detection with automated baselines.
• Develop deprovisioning workflows for backup admin access tied to HR/IAM events.
• Integrate vault-based credential rotation for automation service accounts.
• Produce audit-ready documentation and evidence artifacts for controls.
