Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking a hands-on Senior Systems Security Engineer to plan, implement, and drive enterprise infrastructure security posture across Linux, Windows, cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

You will lead vulnerability management, patch automation, SOPs, and audit readiness while partnering with Cybersecurity, IT, and Compliance to deliver measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience patching enterprise Linux/Windows.
• Experience with vulnerability remediation lifecycle.
• Automation and scripting for deployment and remediation.
• Audit-ready SOPs and regulatory controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex vulnerability remediation across Linux, Windows, cloud, and hybrid infra.
• Design and implement scalable patch management across AWS, Azure and on-prem.
• Translate vulnerability findings into remediation plans with owners.
• Develop KPIs and reporting for leadership and governance forums.
• Collaborate across Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Network, Cloud, and Compliance/Quality.
