The role focuses on architecting hybrid cloud solutions, defining standards, and leading migrations from on-prem to cloud while ensuring security and cost efficiency. The candidate will guide DevOps collaboration, IaC practices, and provide technical leadership across engineering teams, translating advanced security topics into actionable recommendations

Qualifications

• Candidate must have extensive experience architecting hybrid cloud solutions.
• Ability to define cloud architecture standards, governance, and security.
• Proven track record of leading design and implementation of cloud network, IAM, storage, compute, and containers.
• Experience migrating on-prem systems to hybrid/cloud environments with cost optimization awareness.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-prem infrastructure with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Define cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks
• Lead design and implementation of VPNs, IAM, storage, compute, and containers
• Oversee migration strategies from on-prem systems to hybrid/cloud environments
• Ensure security, compliance, and regulatory requirements are met
• Collaborate with DevOps to enable CI/CD and IaC
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
• Evaluate new technologies and strategic adoption
• Translate expertise into actionable recommendations
• Communicate security-related issues to customers and groups
• Document mission events, research findings, procedures, and other security related issues
