Job summary

JCS Solutions is seeking a highly qualified Hybrid Multi-Cloud Engineer SME to support a DoD program. This senior role leads cloud architecture across Microsoft Azure and AWS, focusing on secure hybrid environments and DoD guidance.

Location: Ft Belvoir, VA. Clearance: Secret. Salary: $96,000.00 – $105,000.00. Certification: Active DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II. This position offers a path to advanced cloud modernization initiatives and enterprise security leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's level education with senior DoD cloud experience.
• Experience architecting enterprise cloud solutions (Azure/AWS).
• Hands-on with Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Purview and AVD.
• Knowledge of RMF, NIST guidance, and Zero Trust.
• Strong leadership and mentorship in cloud engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect secure hybrid cloud solutions (Azure and AWS).
• Design greenfield cloud environments for DoD missions.
• Implement Zero Trust and secure networking across on-prem and cloud.
• Automate cloud admin with IaC and scripting languages.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams.
• Align cloud architectures with DoD cybersecurity guidance.
