Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with IT Infrastructure Server, Systems Integration and Operations.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, and hybrid tools like Azure Stack or Azure Arc.
• 5+ years of experience with on‑premises systems, including servers, virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V), and basic data center management.
• 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing and supporting wide area network/local area network environments.
• 5+ years of experience developing automation testing & maintaining automation tools.
• 5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design hybrid cloud solutions that integrate on‑premises data centers with Microsoft Azure, including workload migration strategies, hybrid identity management, and multi‑cloud interoperability where applicable
• Evaluate and implement network connectivity solutions such as Azure ExpressRoute, VPN gateways, and site‑to‑site connections to ensure secure and low‑latency data transfer between on‑premises and cloud environments
• Lead the implementation of hybrid cloud infrastructures, including provisioning resources, configuring virtual networks, storage, and compute services in Azure while aligning with on‑premises systems
• Conduct assessments of existing on‑premises infrastructure to identify opportunities for cloud adoption, hybrid extensions, or modernization, including cost‑benefit analyses and risk evaluations
• Develop and enforce best practices for security, governance, and compliance in hybrid environments, incorporating tools like Azure Security Center, Azure Policy, and identity solutions (e.g., Azure AD Connect)
• Collaborate with development, operations, cloud platform, and security teams to define hybrid cloud strategies, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance, scalability, and disaster recovery
• Stay current with emerging technologies in hybrid cloud, Azure updates, and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that enhance system reliability and efficiency
• Document architectures, create technical blueprints, and provide mentorship to junior architects and engineers on hybrid cloud best practices
• Participate in proof‑of‑concept projects, vendor evaluations, and capacity planning to support long‑term hybrid cloud roadmaps
