Advocate Health in Hazel Crest, IL is seeking a licensed clinician for a full-time hybrid Mental Health: Ambulatory position. The role requires an MSW or MA/MS in Counseling Psychology and licensure (LCSW/LCPC) in Illinois, with 40 hours per week and a mix of on-site and remote work within IL.

Clinical duties include group therapy, individual counseling, crisis stabilization, and collaborative discharge planning.

Qualifications

• MSW or MA/MS in Counseling Psychology.
• This position will need to recognize the needs and behaviors of a variety of age groups of patients treated, i.e., understand normal patterns of adolescent behavior and look for signs of normal aging; prior experience with various age groups is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide group therapy based on assessments and treatment plans.
• Deliver individual counseling and crisis stabilization when needed.
• Coordinate with family, school, and community resources for referrals and advocacy.
• Complete psychosocial assessments and relevant forms per policy.
• Support multidisciplinary treatment planning and adjustments as needed.
• Provide group psychodynamic therapy and individual counseling to develop insight and coping skills.
