Elderwood Staffing Solutions, the internal clinical float pool of Elderwood, coordinates staffing across eight Western New York skilled nursing locations and eight assisted living communities. The role supports facilities with open shifts, census needs, and workforce demands in a fast-paced environment.

The Clinical Staffing Specialist is full-time, with hybrid and mobile responsibilities. Travel to Western New York facilities is required, especially during onboarding, with a company laptop

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Six years of related experience in staffing/scheduling or operations in a high paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Prior experience with scheduling platforms, specifically Kronos, strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary scheduling resource for ESS employees and participating facilities.
• Coordinate initial assignments after employees complete orientation and receive HR clearance.
• Use the master staffing schedule to identify openings that may be filled by full-time and part-time ESS employees.
• Compile and distribute open shift needs weekly and as urgent needs arise.
• Prepare and continually revise daily staffing sheets as assignments and facility needs change.
• Maintain accurate records of assignments, per diem shift pickups, and employee availability, and facility clearances.
• Review monthly hours in UKG/Kronos to ensure employees meet scheduling commitments.
• Track attendance and maintain accurate supporting records.
• Communicate scheduling changes, open needs, and assignment updates promptly to employees and facility partners.
