Job summary

Elderwood of Lakeside at Brockport is actively seeking a seasoned Clinical Staffing Coordinator to join our team in Brockport, NY. The role focuses on generating and managing master schedules for the nursing department, adjusting for budget, census changes, and other facility needs.

Responsibilities include attendance tracking, benefit accrual entries, leaves of absence, and coordinating with the Director of Nursing and Recruitment Coordinator to plan for new hires and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience in a high paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Prior CNA or Med Tech experience strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with UKG strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and use the master staffing schedule extensively.
• Maintain regular communication with DON/ADON to coordinate staffing.
• Prepare daily staffing sheets with revisions as needed.
• Follow policies and budget guidelines for staff assignments.
• List vacant nursing positions for DON weekly.
• Schedule staff time off requests with DON/ADON approval.
• Ensure someone else is trained on the scheduler’s position.
• Assist with payroll preparation for nursing and nursing admin.
