Job summary

Allina Health's Courage Kenny Research Center is seeking a Research Project Specialist to lead clinical trial activities, including patient enrollment, data management, regulatory documentation, and project coordination. Hybrid option possible with Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

The role requires an associate degree in a medical field, 2+ years of research experience, and preferred bachelor’s in biological sciences. CITI cert within 90 days; CCR/CRP preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree in medical field.
• 2+ years experience in research.
• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or related field.
• CITI Program Certification to be completed within 90 days of hire (through Allina Health).
• Certified Clinical Research Coordinator or Certified Clinical Research Professional preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen electronic medical records to identify potential study participants based on protocol criteria.
• Independently conduct informed consent process per SOP and IRB requirements.
• Develop and implement patient care plans based on assessments and study protocol.
• Manage source documentation and accurately record data in case report forms.
• Coordinate with investigators, research staff, and sponsors on study progress and issues.
• Prepare for monitoring/audit visits and assist with any inquiries or discrepancies.
• Oversee study close-out and archiving of data per SOPs.
