Job summary

The Aspen Group (TAG) is seeking a Clinical Applications Analyst in Chicago. This early-career, technically focused role drives configuration, support, and optimization of clinical apps affecting patient care and operations.

You will use SQL and tooling to diagnose issues and support end-users, while building expertise in healthcare IT workflows. You’ll collaborate with clinical and operational teams to translate needs into system solutions, participate in deployments and upgrades, and document

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in application support, systems analysis, or healthcare IT.
Experience with clinical applications or healthcare IT systems (Epic, Cerner, etc).
Familiarity with databases, SDLC, and business process analysis.

Responsibilities

Configure, test, and implement clinical application solutions within assigned modules/workflows.
Perform builds, maintenance, and troubleshooting using structured analytical approaches.
Resolve routine-to-moderate tickets; participate in on-call rotations and escalation.
Use SQL and reporting tools to investigate data issues and support operational analysis.
Document results and provide user guidance; collaborate with stakeholders.
