The successful candidate will lead diverse teams, work with cities, counties, and agencies across California, and drive decarbonization strategies in a hybrid office environment

Qualifications

• Lead multidisciplinary teams on climate and resilience projects.
• 6+ years of climate action and resilience experience.
• Data management and analysis experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel or equivalent preferred.
• Strong facilitation and meeting leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main client contact with regular check-ins and monthly progress reports.
• Oversee work across Rincon staff and subconsultants, manage budgets and schedules.
• Manage multi-year workplans, invoicing, and contract compliance.
• Guide technical work for GHG inventories, electrification, and fleet resilience.
• Develop work scopes and review deliverables for quality.
• Research strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote decarbonization.
• Facilitate engagement with nonprofits, municipalities, and agencies.
• Prepare technical memos, reports, and climate action plans.
