Rincon Consultants, an award-winning California-based environmental firm, seeks a Senior Environmental Planner/Project Manager to lead energy projects in California, focusing on CEQA, land use entitlement, and permitting, with emphasis on client relations and leadership.

Hybrid work setup may be offered; preference for candidates within 50 miles of a Rincon office, with openness to CA, AZ, NV, OR, WA. 10+ years in the field and strong communication skills are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Studies, Geography or Urban Planning.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible environmental consulting experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing CEQA documents.
• Strong project management including budget, schedule, scope, and client management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating technical specialists.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead environmental planning, permitting, and entitlement for renewable energy and grid projects.
• Manage mid- to large-scale projects with scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing and QA.
• Serve as primary client contact, advising on environmental review, permitting pathways and agency coordination.
• Support early-stage siting, due diligence, and permitting strategy development.
• Oversee interdisciplinary teams of technical experts.
