Job summary

The University of Virginia seeks a Clery Act and Youth Protection Compliance Analyst. The analyst provides strategic leadership for UVA's Clery Act compliance and youth protection initiatives across Grounds, campuses, and health systems.

Responsibilities include administering Clery and Youth Protection systems, analyzing incident data, delivering trainings, and guiding stakeholders to reduce risk and improve compliant processes in a hybrid Charlottesville, VA environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; 4 years Clery Act experience may substitute.
2+ years in higher education compliance or related fields; 5 years preferred.
Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders
Strong presentation and communication skills
Ability to learn Department of Safety and Security policies
Experience analyzing policies and procedures
Consultative guidance to stakeholders
Ability to manage sensitive/confidential information
Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and GIS tools

Responsibilities

Create and manage Clery and Youth Protection systems (Ideal Logic, Veoci, GIS, background checks).
Respond to technical assistance requests from system users.
Address questions and reports regarding child abuse and neglect.
Respond to emergent incidents as needed.
Deliver trainings on UVA youth protection and Clery compliance.
Maintain resource libraries and related systems.
Improve infrastructure for Clery across campuses.
Support health systems Clery and youth protection regulations.
Analyze incident and system data to identify trends and needs.
