The position involves using independent judgment to gather loss information, determine coverage, and assign cases to an adjuster, with a hybrid schedule after training and a supportive training program to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six years of experience in an office environment and/or customer service role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Track record of dependability and sound decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Take the first reports of accidents and initiate the claims investigation process.
• Front-line of the claims department and set the tone for delivering exceptional service to insureds.
• Use independent judgment and communication skills to obtain information about losses, determine if coverage exists, and assign cases to an adjuster.
