Job summary

Amwins Self-Funded is seeking a Claims Manager to lead and support a dedicated claims team, strengthening day-to-day operations and delivering exceptional service to clients and partners. This role is primarily in-office, with the opportunity to work from home up to two days per week after completing training.

You will coach staff, manage workloads, and collaborate with carriers, brokers, and administrators to ensure accurate, timely claims processing and reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience leading teams.
• Bachelors or 3–5+ years in Group Benefits preferred.
• 3–5 years of claims or production environment experience preferred.
• Strong time management and deadline discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Claims team and guide staffing decisions.
• Provide coaching and process guidance to improve performance.
• Collaborate with QA and operations to monitor quality trends.
• Oversee document and file management for claims workflows.
• Prepare monthly claim reports and communicate with carriers/brokers.
