Job summary

Amwins Self-Funded is seeking a Claims Manager to lead a dedicated claims team, strengthen daily operations, and deliver exceptional service to clients and partners. The role is primarily in-office with the option to work from home up to two days per week after completion of training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience with a passion for leading, coaching, and developing others.
• Bachelor's degree or 3–5+ years in Group Benefits.
• 3–5 years of claims or production-environment experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Time management to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Claims team and support staff through staffing, promotions, and evaluations.
• Provide coaching and process guidance with the Claims Lead for targeted development.
• Collaborate with the QA team to review audits and monitor quality trends.
• Oversee the filing process for Stop Loss Claims and manage client account assignments.
• Prepare monthly claims reporting and communicate with Stop Loss carriers as needed.
• Support service delivery and build strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Assist with training programs and development initiatives across the team.
• Handle ad hoc duties as assigned.
