Job summary

Progressive is seeking a claims adjuster trainee in Massachusetts. This hybrid role includes in-office two days weekly and work-from-home the rest, with 12 months of training and ongoing coaching from leaders.

You’ll learn to manage a full case load and develop relationships with customers by phone, receiving in-depth training on property damage and insurance contracts. Position located near Canton, Westborough, or Woburn offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of work experience.
• Two years work experience with an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage for claims.
• Determine liability for damages.
• Interview customers, claimants and witnesses.
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs.
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims.
