Progressive Insurance seeks a claims adjuster trainee in Massachusetts. This hybrid role blends in-office days with remote work, with comprehensive training and coaching to manage a full claims load from start to finish.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team, learning property damage, contracts, and claims process steps while building customer relationships over the phone. Relocation and travel are not required.

Qualifications

• Experience interviewing customers, claimants, and witnesses.
• Ability to determine coverage and liability.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage.
• Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages).
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses.
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs.
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims.
