Progressive Insurance is seeking a claims adjuster trainee in Williamsville, NY. The role is hybrid, with in-office days chosen by local leadership and flexible remote days for a 12-month period, enabling collaboration and coaching from leaders.

You must reside within 50 miles of the Williamsville office. Responsibilities include determining coverage and liability, interviewing customers and witnesses, coordinating with appraisers, and negotiating with customers and other carriers to resolve

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience or a Bachelor's degree or two years work experience and an associate degree.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Williamsville, NY.
• Hybrid work role with in-office days and remote/flexible days.

Responsabilités

• Determine coverage.
• Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages).
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses.
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs.
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims.
