Progressive is seeking a claims adjuster trainee in Bedford, NH. You’ll learn how to help customers after accidents, manage claims from start to finish, and work with a collaborative team while receiving coaching from leaders.

This is a hybrid role with in-office days and flexible remote work, a 12-month training period, and a pre-defined schedule that may vary by business needs. Relocation not required, but commuting is expected from a reasonable distance.

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree OR
• Two years work experience and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage
• Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages)
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers and resolve claims
