Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Design experience for power generation facilities, buildings and industrial structures.
- Strong knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE, IBC, NFPA and OSHA codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor structural analysis, design, detailing and forensic investigation.
- Design/evaluate overhead monorails, lifting beams, rigging lugs and rated capacities.
- Conduct and document structural inspections and proof load testing for lifting devices.
- Evaluate foundations and hydrology/ hydraulics for plant sites.
- Review surveys and subsurface investigations for civil projects at plants.
- Develop budgets, scopes, and statements of work for capital projects.
- Coordinate with procurement and observe construction on civil/structural work.
