Job summary

The Will Group is hiring a Civil Project Engineer (PE) in Shorewood, Illinois, to support civil engineering projects including roadways, utilities, and stormwater systems. This hybrid position requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a PE license, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Illinois PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify civil design drawings and plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare engineering calculations for grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway layouts.
• Assist in design reviews and ensure compliance with local codes and project specifications.
• Create construction documents, technical specifications, and quantity takeoffs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to coordinate design solutions.
