Job summary

KEY Environmental, Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil/Geotechnical Engineer - Project Manager to lead civil and geotechnical tasks on environmental remediation and redevelopment projects across the United States.

You will coordinate project phases, mentor junior staff, develop technical and cost proposals, manage budgets, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver practical engineering solutions with safety and regulatory compliance. Hybrid work in Carnegie, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or geotechnical engineering is required or equivalent.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required; multi-state licensure by reciprocity preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, technical writing, and communication skills.
• Experience with construction oversight/monitoring and geotechnical field testing is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/geotechnical engineering tasks for environmental remediation and redevelopment projects.
• Coordinate project phases: investigation, evaluation, design, permitting, and construction.
• Mentor junior engineers and scientists; contribute to senior management feedback.
• Develop technical and cost proposals; manage budgets and project invoices.
