Job summary

Engineering Consulting Service is seeking a Civil/Geotechnical engineer to lead geotechnical reporting and CMT projects in Pennsylvania. You will manage budgets, prepare proposals, and mentor staff while delivering timely, accurate recommendations.

The role involves coordinating with clients, supervising field teams, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and licenses where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required.
• 2 years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) preferred; license required where you work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare geotechnical reports with analysis and recommendations to meet deadlines.
• Manage construction materials testing (CMT) projects, review daily reports, resolve issues, train field staff.
• Prepare geotechnical and CMT proposals, manage budgets, and prepare change orders and invoices.
• Host or attend project meetings with clients and provide technical solutions as needed.
• Supervise drilling/test pit crews, assist with rig access, and mentor staff managers and technicians.
