Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Civil Engineer specializing in land development to join the in‑house team on industrial site projects in a hybrid work environment. You will lead design, permitting, and construction support across multiple states from concept through construction.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and 4–10+ years of land development experience, with strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills and knowledge of grading, drainage, and stormwater management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 4–10+ years of land development, civil engineering, or site development experience.
• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility infrastructure, roadway design, and permitting processes.
• Experience coordinating with municipalities, utility agencies, and regulatory authorities.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering efforts for industrial land development from due diligence through construction.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate site development plans, grading plans, utility layouts, drainage systems, and stormwater management designs.
• Perform site feasibility evaluations, including zoning analysis and entitlement support.
• Coordinate with internal teams to achieve project objectives and manage outside consultants.
• Coordinate permitting efforts with local municipalities, regulatory agencies, and utility providers.
• Provide engineering support during construction, including RFIs and submittal reviews.
