Job summary

Inceptra Solutions LLC in Doylestown, PA is seeking a Civil Engineer (Land Development) to design private subdivision projects across residential, retail, commercial, and institutional sectors in southeastern Pennsylvania. You will work independently on smaller projects and support senior staff on larger ones.

The role emphasizes CAD-based design, coordination with PMs, and adherence to municipal regulations and stormwater requirements. Office-based with flexible work model and direct hire.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of private subdivision and land development design experience.
• Experience preparing site, grading, utility and roadway plans.
• Strong understanding of stormwater management and erosion & sediment control.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Excellent time management and verbal/written communication; able to coordinate with PMs and seniors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sketch plans, site plans, grading plans, utility plans and roadway plans.
• Support layout and design development through the project lifecycle.
• Prepare technical drawings, reports, and submission packages.
• Review zoning ordinances and stormwater requirements affecting design.
• Assist with stormwater design calculations and erosion control considerations.
• Meet with Project Managers to coordinate goals and provide task updates.
