Job summary

Van Cleef Engineering Associates LLC in Doylestown, PA is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our multi‑discipline firm. You will design subdivision and land development projects across residential, retail, and commercial sectors, working with project managers and a team of designers.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil Engineering, 2–3 years’ experience, and an EIT is preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Hydroflow is expected, with a commitment to quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of progressive experience in land development design.
• EIT preferred; continuing education in the industry encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Design subdivision and land development projects across residential, retail, commercial, industrial and institutional sectors.
• Review zoning, subdivision and stormwater regulations for applicability to projects.
• Provide design assistance to Sr. Project Designers as required.
• Prepare sketch/site plans, grading, utilities, road and utility profiles; stormwater/E&S design knowledge.
• Develop subdivision plans, reports, and submissions; collaborate with senior designers as needed.
• Coordinate with project managers and team members on goals, schedules, and updates.
• Maintain regular communication on status and timelines for tasks.
