State of Maine is seeking a Human Services Enforcement Agent in Ellsworth to perform investigative, protective services focused on locating non-custodial parents and establishing and enforcing child support obligations. The role includes representing the department in Maine District Court and initiating enforcement actions.

The position offers partial telework with management approval after six months of training.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Business or Public Administration, or related field.
• Directly related paraprofessional or higher-level experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
• Pre-employment screening including verification of minimum qualifications, employment history, and references.

Responsabilidades

• Investigative services to locate non-custodial parents.
• Establishing, enforcing, and collecting child support obligations.
• Establishing paternity of children born out of wedlock.
• Initiating appropriate court actions and enforcement actions.
• Representing the Department’s interests in Maine District Court in child support matters.
