Job summary

Hirewell in Chicago is seeking a Director of Procurement to lead its global procurement organization, vendor management lifecycle, and governance framework. This high-impact role oversees direct and indirect procurement, complex contract negotiations, and vendor risk management.

You will own the procurement strategy, drive M&A integration with post-merger contracts, and partner with FP&A for budgeting and spend reporting.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in procurement, sourcing and vendor management in high-growth tech or finance.
• Proven ability negotiating complex enterprise agreements (SaaS, Telecom, Market Data).
• Experience leading M&A procurement integration and large vendor consolidations.
• Hands-on with Coupa, NetSuite, and Ironclad or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of third-party risk management, GDPR, SOC 2, ISO.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex contract negotiations across SaaS, Telecom, Market Data, CapEx, and OpEx.
• Develop multi-year procurement roadmaps aligned with growth and budget.
• Oversee vendor risk assessments and compliance reviews across third parties.
• Lead M&A due diligence, vendor audits, and post-merger integration of contracts.
• Standardize SOW creation and manage PR to PO workflow for contractors.
• Collaborate with Corporate Controller and FP&A on budget and spends.
• Design procurement governance policies per GDPR/CCPA/SOC 2.
• Own procurement platforms (Coupa, NetSuite, Ironclad) and report spend/savings.
