Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Channel Planner, Service Parts, to support frontline operations and ensure Rivian Service Centers have the parts they need at optimal cost. Hybrid role with in-office time at Irvine, CA or Plymouth, MI, reporting to the Manager, Channel Planner.

You will drive materials management strategies, optimize stocking, and coordinate replenishment across global service networks while collaborating with field operations and planning teams.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Automotive, Tier 1, OEM, or technical field preferred with emphasis in demand supply chain, materials management, distribution, or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Support the Channel Planning and Analytics strategic plan to improve service levels with less inventory.
• Own master data and inventory parameters for Service Center materials to meet demand forecast and improve fill rates.
• Develop, launch, and improve part inventory stocking models and replenishment logic.
• Analyze system outputs to ensure correct ordering, replenishment, and availability for global service requirements.
• Coordinate transactional movements of materials to optimize costs and meet SLAs.
• Drive operational excellence across the network to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Collaborate with Service Field operations, Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning and partners to align on service level expectations and inventory strategies.
• Seek out new innovations and present strategies to continuously improve the organization.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
