Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree or graduation from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Case Review, Abstracting & Staging: Review pathology and disease reports to determine cases for abstraction.
• Data Collection & Reporting: Assist in data collection for the Cancer Annual Report and other reports.
• Follow-Up & Commission on Cancer Compliance: Perform follow-up procedures to maintain required follow-up percentages.
• Cancer Program & Registry Support: Prepare for quarterly committee meetings and tumor conferences, communicating issues timely.
• Quality & Process Improvement: Recommend procedural changes and stay current with reporting requirements.
